Welcome to Grace Community Church! We are thankful for your interest in us, and would like you to know a little more about who we are.
Grace Community Church is blessed to be a church with a rich heritage dating back to 1884. Looking back over the past 125 years there is so much for us to be thankful for as God has moved in the hearts and lives of so many through the ministry of this church. But even as we celebrate our past, we also look forward to the future with excitement for what God will do next. We are a congregation actively seeking to spread the good news about Jesus Christ and his ability to transform lives.
Our congregation is made up of people from many different backgrounds, encompassing all ages, united by our desire to learn more about God and His desire for our lives, individually and collectively. We have seen our need for God’s forgiveness of our sins and recognize that being forgiven is possible only because of the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. We are so thrilled to have this forgiveness and new relationship with Him that we feel compelled to help others learn of this glorious opportunity!
We want to extend a warm invitation to you to join us as we seek God together and as we grow in our relationship with Him and each other. We believe “church” is so much more than just a building – it is the people (people God made and loves!). By the grace of God, the church is the people who share a relationship with Christ and through Him are joined to one another as a family or community. We are a group of ordinary people bound together by the extraordinary grace of God through Jesus Christ. We are Grace Community Church!
